Month 1: Kick-Off Event – Introducing HYPER
The project begins with a dynamic community launch event that introduces HYPER to the public. Participants, partners, and volunteers come together to discover the project’s mission, meet the organizing team, and exchange ideas. This event marks the official start of the social media awareness campaign, promoting animal welfare, youth inclusion, and collective responsibility across Thessaloniki’s communities.
Month 2: Volunteer Training Workshop
Young volunteers receive comprehensive training on animal care, shelter operations, and responsible pet ownership. The empowers participants with essential knowledge and confidence before they begin volunteering. It also emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and shared values, ensuring that every young person feels prepared to act responsibly, effectively, and compassionately in supporting both animals and local shelter staff.
Month 3: First Shelter Visit – Hands-On Action
Young volunteers begin their active engagement with animal shelters, performing daily tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and walking dogs. These hands-on experiences form the heart of HYPER, creating a tangible impact on animal well-being while nurturing empathy and a sense of purpose among young participants. Through direct action, solidarity becomes a living experience of compassion and care.
Month 5: Midpoint Evaluation Webinar
At the halfway point, HYPER holds a reflective online evaluation bringing together volunteers, shelters, and partners. The discussion focuses on experiences, challenges, and achievements so far, identifying improvements for the coming months. This open and constructive dialogue strengthens the team’s coordination, reinforces motivation, and ensures that project objectives continue to align with community needs and values.
Month 6: “Walking Together” – Community Dog Walk
A joyful public event invites citizens to join volunteers in walking shelter dogs through the city. Beyond offering animals exercise and visibility, the activity builds bridges between residents and shelters. It promotes adoption, encourages responsible pet companionship, and showcases how youth solidarity can unite the community through positive, shared experiences of compassion and active participation.
Month 7: Skill-Building Session Empathy & Inclusion
Focuses on personal growth through interactive workshops centered on empathy, inclusion, and responsibility. Participants explore how understanding and caring for animals can strengthen human connection and emotional intelligence. The sessions cultivate leadership, communication, and self-awareness, empowering young people to translate compassion into sustainable social action that uplifts both animals and their communities.
Month 8: Creative Outreach – Art for Animal Welfare
Participants express their experiences through art—posters, videos, and creative media that reflect the spirit of HYPER. These artistic outputs are shared in schools, youth centers, and online spaces, inspiring awareness and responsibility. By merging creativity with advocacy, young people convey powerful messages of empathy, proving that art can be a tool for social and emotional transformation.
Month 9: Adoption Day Event at HYPER
In collaboration with local shelters, HYPER organizes a public adoption fair where families and individuals meet animals in need of homes. The event promotes responsible ownership, educates attendees about care requirements, and celebrates human–animal bonds. Guided by passionate volunteers, Adoption Day highlights how love, trust, and solidarity can turn rescue into lifelong companionship and mutual growth.
Month 10: Workshop – Keeping HYPER Alive
This workshop focuses on ensuring the long-term continuity of HYPER’s impact beyond its official timeline. Volunteers, shelters, and partners collaborate to design strategies for ongoing volunteer programs, funding opportunities, and awareness initiatives. The session emphasizes sustainability, leadership, and community responsibility—preparing participants to carry the project’s mission forward as a lasting movement for compassion and inclusion.
Month 11: Impact Presentation Stories of Change
An inspiring gathering brings together volunteers, shelters, and community members to share achievements and personal stories from the project. Through testimonials, photos, and data, the event illustrates how HYPER has transformed both animal lives and human perspectives. It celebrates solidarity in action, demonstrating that collective care can generate lasting social, emotional, and environmental impact.
Month 12: Final Webinar – A Movement Beyond the Project
The final online event concludes the year with celebration and vision. Participants present outcomes, reflect on their personal and collective journeys, and discuss how to continue the mission. Far from an ending, this webinar symbolizes a new beginning—transforming HYPER from a project into a growing movement for compassion, inclusion, and shared human–animal connection.
